Artist, anarchist, poet, musician. I’m from Oxford and I mostly spend my time smoking cigarettes and dancing badly to old jazz records.
I am studying part-time for a masters in Social and Political Thought at The University of Sussex. I also studied International Politics at The University of Portsmouth and Creative Writing at The University of Oxford.
I have long term mental health conditions (anxiety, depression, first episode psychosis), as such I am unable to work.
I am the singer and guitarist in post-punk band Austerity and the editor of The Austerity Times, a dadaist-anarchist zine. I also perform speed addled stream of consciousness punk poetry.
I am writing a novel about sex, drugs and death in austerity Britain. I am also putting together my first poetry zine, ‘Heterosexuality is just a word (and so is souffle)’.
I am interested in the integration of criticism and artistic praxis.
I mostly write about politics, girls, mental illness and music.
I live and work in Brighton.
